YouTuber MrBeast Secures Exclusive Access to Egypt’s Pyramids for 100-Hour Filming Adventure

The Egyptian government has once again opened the gates of its iconic pyramids to private access—this time for MrBeast, the wildly popular American YouTuber known for extreme challenges and massive giveaways.

During an episode of the “Beyond the Records” podcast with Noah Lyles, MrBeast revealed the extraordinary opportunity:

“We got all three of the pyramids of Egypt for 100 hours. I’m gonna do a video where they let me explore anywhere I want in the Pyramids.”

Inside the Ancient Wonders

Accompanied by a tour guide and some friends, MrBeast plans to delve deep into the pyramids, exploring their secretive corridors, hidden chambers, and ancient tombs. His adventure will include an overnight stay within the monuments, where he also intends to search for ghosts and uncover rarely-seen areas, all captured on video for his massive audience.

“I want to just find secrets and go through all the rooms and tombs,” he said. “I’m so excited because there are all these secret corridors deep below too. I don’t know what to expect.”

A Growing Trend of Exclusive Access

This isn’t the first time the Egyptian government has granted private access to its archaeological treasures. Earlier this year, the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx were closed to the public for a tech billionaire’s wedding. Such arrangements have sparked debates about balancing tourism revenue with the preservation and accessibility of world heritage sites.

MrBeast's Unique Impact

MrBeast’s latest venture promises to bring a new level of visibility to the pyramids, especially for younger audiences who may not typically engage with ancient history. Known for his record-breaking stunts and philanthropy, his videos routinely garner millions of views, suggesting this collaboration could boost interest in Egypt’s cultural landmarks.

While some might raise concerns about such exclusive uses of world heritage sites, others argue that the exposure could contribute to increased tourism and funding for archaeological preservation efforts.

The video is expected to showcase never-before-seen parts of the pyramids, offering the global public a unique glimpse into one of humanity’s greatest architectural achievements.
